Ski Touring
The sunny high plateau of the Feuerkogel provides numerous opportunities for ski touring. Whether you head out on your own steam, or go with a guide, it’s entirely up to you. Guided tours can be arranged through Skischule Neuhuber or Capricorn Adventures.
The ski tour routes range in difficulty from beginners to advanced – from half-hour ascents, to those which last several hours. One ideal destination for ski tourers is the Riederhütte mountain refuge which is located around 2 hours walk from the mountain station.
