The lakes and mountains region of Austria has
long been considered one of the most stunning places to take a cycling
or walking holiday. Cycle paths follow along side the lakeshores and river
valleys before sweeping through meadows you thought only existed on the film
set of The Sound of Music. The reality is of course that the film was
made in this area and the countryside has hardly changed since then.

Our cycling
holidays offer you the chance to go at a pace that suits you and do as much
or as little as you like and because we organise everything, you can start
relaxing from the very first moment. You will be able to choose from a
variety of rides to suit your ability and explore stunning lakes such as
Langbathsee which is often used a backdrop for films and TV adverts, the
picturesque village of Traunkirchen with its church jutting out onto the
lake and the wonderful towns of Hallstatt and Bad Ischl, both steeped in
history and more importantly great cake shops.
We have a
variety of bikes and can offer childrens bikes and tag-alongs too so no one
need be left out. |

Your walking holiday can again be
tailor made to suit your needs. We have miles of stunning walking routes
on offer that give you the opportunity to experience Austria at its' best.

Visit
the stunning lakes of Langbathsee and Offensee and maybe take a swim in the
crystal clear waters before visiting the beautiful Rindbach Waterfall.
Alternatively start your day by taking the Feuerkogel cable car allowing you
to explore the high mountains before walking down to the village and back to
our house for a well earned drink.
Good transport links also give you the opportunity to visit the Spa town of
Bad Ischl, historic Hallstatt and of course the wonderful city of Salzburg. |
